Fenham le Moor is only a short distance away from some of Northumberland’s finest beaches and coastline with its historical castles. Regular boat trips from Seahouses harbour will take you out to visit the bird and seal colonies of the Farne Islands.
The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is one of the most popular destinations for visitors to our area. The causway giving access to the island at low tide is just a few minutes drive from the cottage.
Standing at the base of Lindisfarne Castle on clear day will afford you magnificent views along the coast towards Bamburgh Castle. Lindisfarne's Christian Heritage is well known throughout the world and you will find the islands attractions such as the Abbey ruins and unique shops well worth a visit.
